Job Title: Warehouse Exception SpecialistFull responsibilities same as before:
- Receive, sort, register and track all warehouse abnormal issues timely, including damaged goods, missing items, quantity discrepancies, mis-sorting, mis-labeling, wrong inbound/outbound shipments, return exceptions, packaging defects and inventory variances.
- Conduct on-site investigation, verify exception root causes, collect photos, paperwork and relevant evidence for each problematic case, and record detailed exception information in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Communicate and coordinate with inbound teams, picking/packing teams, shipping carriers, suppliers, clients and customer service to resolve exception issues efficiently, formulate disposal plans for damaged, returned or discrepant inventory.
- Complete follow-up disposal work for abnormal goods: arrange re-inspection, re-packing, re-labeling, re-storage, return processing, scrapping application or claim filing as required.
- Sort out daily, weekly and monthly exception statistics reports, analyze recurring exception causes, summarize typical problem cases, and put forward optimization suggestions for warehouse operation processes to reduce future exception rates.
- Assist in submitting cargo damage claims, freight discrepancy claims and supplier deduction applications, follow up claim progress until closed.
- Ensure all exception handling records are complete, accurate and archived systematically for audit, inventory reconciliation and traceability purposes.
- Comply with warehouse safety rules, 5S management requirements and company SOPs; support ad-hoc operational tasks assigned by warehouse supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,000.00 – $7,000.00 per month
