Job Overview
You will be responsible for an array of duties such as preparing, packaging and labeling products to be sorted and shipped by order to stores that we service as well as other duties as assigned. Shift Closer/Lead opportunities possible with training.
Sunday-Thursday
10:00 am-6:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Check Products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods, evaluate the quality of food ingredients or prepared foods
- Check equipment to ensure that it is clean, ready to use and is functioning properly
- Maintain packaging equipment and inform maintenance department of any repairs and/or maintenance needed
- Keep area clean and sanitized by food code standards
- Operate slicing or wrapping machines, operate cutting equipment
- Frost, glaze or fill doughnuts, rolls and cakes
- Change bags, labels or packaging containers to appropriate size/type based on products
- Load finished products into the brown rack trays staged in the loading area by store
- Clean brown racks as needed
- Load products into semi-trailers using a load map to ensure that all products are sent correctly to the warehouse
- Do final cleaning at days end to ensure that the Bakery is ready for next day’s production
- Restock and reorder/fill in order sheets for packaging materials needed/needing to be ordered
- Package, weigh and label completed items for storage and shipment
- Work your way into the closing position with extra responsibilities
