Job Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing opportunities through the full sales cycle. This includes prospecting, nurturing relationships, responding to RFPs, presenting proposals, and closing deals. Success in this role will be measured by booked revenue, sales activity, and client relationships built.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Execution
● Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and RFP to contract execution.
● Prospect and identify new business opportunities through networking, associations, and direct outreach.
● Schedule and conduct in-person office visits, presentations, and follow-up meetings with decision-makers.
● Respond to RFPs with timely and compelling proposals.
● Track and achieve annual sales goals tied to booked revenue.
Client Relationships & Retention
● Build and maintain long-term partnerships with property managers, community associations, and decision-makers.
● Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-production process.
● Ensure exceptional client experience from first contact through project handoff.
● Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding existing accounts.
Collaboration & Reporting
● Work closely with the estimating and production teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project handoff.
● Maintain accurate activity and deal tracking in HubSpot CRM.
● Provide regular reporting on outreach efforts, proposals submitted, and revenue booked.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales and Account Management, including lead generation, client presentations, and contract negotiations
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales software
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to achieve and surpass sales targets
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Previous experience in the painting or construction a big plus
- Current relationships with property managers also a big plus
Base Salary
● Annual base Salary: $50k – $75k + Commission. Our highest earning Account Executive makes $400,000 per year and you can too!
