Job description:
Responsibilities:
– Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for school-age children.
– Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
– Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
– Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of each child.
– Monitor and assess the development of each child, identifying areas that may require additional support or intervention.
– Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and create a supportive classroom environment.
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring that materials are readily available for learning activities.
– Promote literacy education by incorporating storytelling, reading, and writing activities into daily routines.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children.
– Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education practices.
– Strong behavior management skills to effectively address challenging behaviors.
– Ability to create a structured and engaging classroom environment.
– Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
– Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations.
– Familiarity with classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment.
– Knowledge of literacy education principles and techniques.
