Job Description
We are seeking an innovative, agile, technology-oriented Air Cargo Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced startup. You will be in charge of coordinating a customer’s shipments by quoting, negotiating with airlines, and booking to ensure we provide an optimal customer service experience within a teamwork-based and tech driven company.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO.
- Source quotes from airlines, and negotiate to secure the best options
- Provide customers with quotes based on available freight opportunities
- Book shipments offered by customers
- Proactively communicate with customers on the status of their shipments
- Assist with challenging requests and know when they should be escalated
- Support the Pelicargo product development through your experiences and learnings
YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE
- Demonstratable experience at an air freight forwarder, airline cargo department, or GSA.
- Fluent in English – verbal and written
- Working in a customer – facing role is a plus
- Proven ability to maintain high levels of customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving ability
- Go-getter attitude with the ability to come up with solutions to challenges

Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
