The Opportunity

The analyst at Northwood Family Office provides direct client service support, and their focus encompasses the following areas:

  • Client Reporting: Preparing quarterly investment reporting packages using internal reporting processes.
  • Data Governance: Ownership of client documentation, compliance, and general firm documentation
  • Client Accounting: Providing support to complete financial statements and tax compliance deadlines.

Description of the Role

The Individual Will Be Primarily Responsible For The Following

  • Assisting in compiling client quarterly investment reporting.
  • Managing client documentation (i.e. account openings, Compliance) to ensure proper processes have been followed and filed properly.
  • Completing other ad hoc tax and accounting tasks as required.
  • Executing other ad hoc requests and reporting as required.

Skills And Experience

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience in the investment industry considered an asset.
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects of varying priority.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Above-average organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a timeline-driven environment and to integrate and add value in a team environment.
  • Desire to acquire skills and build a long-term career in a unique environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance preferred.

Note that salary and bonus will be dependent on the skill set, experience, and perceived potential of the candidate.
