Armed Security Officer-Retail Jobs in St. Louis, MO at Law Enforcement Total Solutions of Missouri, LLC
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified FULL TIME Armed Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. Locations are in the St. Louis area, specifically in Brentwood, Shrewsbury, and University City. These posts are at area grocery stores in a retail setting. The shift that is available is in the afternoon, 2:30pm to 10:30pm, or 2:15pm to 10:15pm depending on location. Due to a seven (7) day a week operation, there is no set schedule as days off are rotated for fairness. Weekend availability is a must. Priority will be given to candidates with open availability. A current St. Louis Armed Security License is REQUIRED. Armed license will be required prior to working.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Stand at the front of the store as a visual deterrent
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
- Maintain high visibility to provide a secure presence
​Qualifications:
- MUST have a current ACTIVE Armed Security License
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Weekend availability is REQUIRED
- Reliable transportation is REQUIRED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
