We’re looking for a developer to assist with full stack web development with an emphasis on e-commerce. This position would be to assist our internal Embedded Systems Engineer who is heading all of our development at the moment.
Role Overview
In-Person or Remote (Hybrid Available)
The primary focus of this position to start will be:
- Internal web tools (React / Node.js
- API Integrations (Shopify, Quickbooks, internal services)
- Frontend web development for a custom Shopify storefront
As you grow into the role:
- Assisting with embedded system development:
- System-level logic and control flows
- Firmware development
- Involvement in custom OS and device-level development.
Qualifications & Needed SkillsWeb / Backend
- Javascript / Typescript
- React
- / Express
- PostgreSQL (or similar)
- Shopify (Liquid + ecosystem familiarity)
Systems Integration
- WebSockets
- REST / GraphQL APIs
Development Workflow Expectations
You should be comfortable working in a multi-project development environment:
- Git based workflows (GitHub, feature branches, pull requests, etc)
- Clean and maintainable code
- Environment Management (local, staging, production, etc)
- Handling environment variables and secrets properly
- Debugging deployment and environment-specific issues
Desired Skills
- Experience with embedded systems (C, C++, Assembly, QT)
- Familiarity with CAN bus or hardware communication

Compensation & Benefits
- Range: $45-65 per hour
- Part Time: 10-20 hours per week
