General Laborer – Asphalt Maintenance

Position Overview
As a General Laborer, you’ll assist in all aspects of asphalt maintenance, including prepping, sealing, repairing, and striping surfaces. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and often includes travel to out-of-town job sites with an experienced crew leader. Lodging and meals are provided when traveling.
Responsibilities
- Apply asphalt sealcoat using spray systems and hand tools
- Perform asphalt crackfilling, pothole patching, and layout/line striping
- Set up traffic control, clean job sites, and load/unload equipment
- Operate small machinery, blowers, squeegees, and striping equipment
- Follow instructions from foreman and crew leaders
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
- Dependable, hard-working, and willing to learn
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work long hours outdoors
- Comfortable working some evenings or weekends during busy season
- Valid driver’s license required (you will travel with the team leader)
- Prior asphalt or construction experience is helpful but not required
