Responsibilities
Paint Preparation
- Sanding and feather edging repairs
- Masking vehicles and panels
- Surface preparation for paint application
- Priming and block sanding
- Color matching and tinting
Paint Application
- Mixing and applying paint materials
- Applying basecoat, clearcoat, and specialty finishes
- Maintaining consistent color and texture across repairs
- Performing spot repairs and blend panels
- Ensuring manufacturer repair standards are followed
Finishing & Quality Control
- Buffing and polishing completed repairs
- Inspecting finished vehicles for quality and accuracy
- Correcting minor paint defects
- Ensuring vehicles meet customer and company expectations
Shop Operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow OSHA and safety procedures
- Care and maintenance of paint equipment and spray booths
- Assist team members when needed
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair and painting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Skilled in auto painting techniques such as airless spray painting and buffing for professional finishes.
- Knowledge of auto glass installation, detailing, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment.
- Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients.

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
