Automotive Painter Jobs in Lake Forest, CA at Ideal Paint Repair
Mobile Bumper/Paint Technician (W‑2, non‑exempt) – Southern California
Pay: $36h (guaranteed hourly + OT; varies by route/production/collected work)
Perks: Company van (we cover insurance, fuel, maintenance) + all paint/materials
You’ll:
- Drive a company van to dealership lots across SoCal (paid travel between jobs; some ~1‑hr drives)
- Prep, mask, base/clear, and finish bumper & light panel repairs
- Communicate professionally with dealership managers/staff
You have:
- 5+ years bumper/paint prep & refinish experience (mobile or booth)
- Valid CA driver’s license + excellent record (MVR check)
- Ability to pass a background check after a conditional offer (Fair Chance Act)
- Comfort working outdoors/independently on a daily route
- Ability to kneel/bend and lift up to 75 lbs (accommodations available)
Schedule & benefits:
- Full‑time ~40 hrs/week; OT per CA law
- Travel between jobs is on the clock; normal home commute unpaid
