Job Title: General Service Technician
Location: Ulmer’s Auto Care – Southgate, KY
Job Type: Full-Time

Ulmer’s Auto Care is looking to fill an immediate opening for a general service technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
-Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
-Undertake repair or maintenance tasks such as changing oil, checking and replacing fluids, changing brake pads, etc.
-Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
-Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
-Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and best practices
-Maintain a clean and safe workspace
-Explaining automotive repairs and issues in a way that is easily understandable
-Testing the functionality of parts and systems
-Communicating with parts department and service advisors to obtain needed parts
-Saving and tagging parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
-Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and technology
-Basic electrical knowledge
-Proficiency in suspension and noise concerns preferred
-Ability to work independently as well as a team
-Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
-Knowledge and understanding of vehicle repair
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD A MUST. IMMEDIATE DRUG TEST REQUIRED UPON ACCEPTANCE OF JOB.
