Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and serving areas
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to support café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures in a café or food service setting
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift moderate loads as needed

Pay: $21.48 – $25.87 per hour
