Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated team member for our new concept cafe/coffee shop from the Founder of Spread Bagelry. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while providing exceptional service and an exciting experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages. Make Donuts and Bagels and sandwiches.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café.
- Manage cash handling processes, including taking orders, processing payments, and balancing cash registers.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Help create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry as a Barista/Cook is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Knowledge of Square POS and delivery/ordering apps and systems.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
