Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading staff to achieve operational excellence. This position requires a strong background in food service management and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and development.
- Manage drink production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all menu items.
- Maintain inventory levels, communicating to Store Manager when low on inventory as necessary to ensure adequate stock of supplies and ingredients.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with local health codes.
Skills
- Proven experience in costumer service management or related fields such as catering or bartending.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff and customers alike.
- Knowledge of drink production techniques and cafe operations is essential.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus but not required.
