Bookkeeper Jobs in Van Nuys at Props Inc
Props Inc is a fabrication and creative production shop based in Van Nuys specializing in custom props, brand activations, large-format 3D printing, scenic fabrication, and event builds for film, TV, brands, and live events.
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper / Production Coordinator to help support our growing shop operations.
This is an in-person role, approximately 3 days per week / 8 hours per day.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile receipts and company expenses
- Maintain and update Google Sheets budgets
- Track labor hours and production costs
- Create and send estimates/invoices through QuickBooks
- Assist with closing out project budgets
- Help coordinate project logistics, deliveries, and schedules
- Organize vendor receipts, purchase orders, and project documentation
- Communicate with team members regarding budgets and job status updates
- Assist ownership with general administrative and operational support
Qualifications
- Experience with bookkeeping and administrative support
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Strong Google Sheets / Excel skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Experience in fabrication, production, events, construction, or creative industries is a plus

- Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 24 hours per week
- 3 days per week / 8 hours per day
- In-person at our Van Nuys shop
