About The Role
The Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) at Nestlé Health Science plays a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of brand strategies and marketing initiatives. This position involves analyzing business performance, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing plans. The ABM will work closely with departments such as Sales, Finance, R&D, Regulatory, and Consumer Insights to drive brand growth through innovation, renovation, and go-to-market strategies. The role offers exposure to all facets of brand management, including performance analysis, marketing program execution, product lifecycle management, and external agency collaboration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and a passion for health and wellness, contributing to the company's mission of delivering impactful health solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in brand marketing or a related field
- Experience in the branded consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with syndicated data tools such as IRI or Nielsen
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on learning and growth
- Interest in health and wellness is a plus
- Location flexibility, with a preference for candidates near Bridgewater, New Jersey
Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual brand plans and long-term strategic initiatives
- Analyze brand and category performance using syndicated data to identify trends and opportunities
- Monitor the competitive landscape and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions
- Lead monthly business reviews and track key performance metrics
- Manage brand budgets, including purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, and financial tracking
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate P&L management and forecasting
- Oversee coupon programs, redemptions, and related financial deliverables
- Coordinate the execution of marketing programs across digital, shopper, and promotional channels
- Support packaging updates, new product launches, and product lifecycle management
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets and product launches
- Act as a liaison between Marketing and other internal departments, including Sales, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, and R&D
- Assist in customer marketing initiatives and develop sales communication materials
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing strategies effectively
