Overview
- We are seeking a Data / Business Analyst to support a large-scale program focused on managing and analyzing subsidy-related data. This role sits at the intersection of business and data, requiring strong collaboration with stakeholders while performing hands-on analysis to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data pipelines and SQL, and able to translate business needs into actionable insights.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, interpret, and translate requirements into clear technical specifications
- Analyze large datasets using SQL to support reporting, financial reconciliation, and data validation efforts
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across ingestion pipelines and data warehouse environments
- Support data workflows and pipeline processes, identifying and resolving data quality issues
- Generate reports and insights to support compliance, operations, and business decision-making
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
Skills Required
- 1–3 years of experience in a combined Data Analyst and/or Business Analyst role
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing structured datasets
- Experience working with Postgres SQL or similar data warehouse environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with ETL processes and/or data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache NiFi preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in data accuracy and validation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and non-technical requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP) are a plus
