Role Description The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and presenting insights that inform clinical and operational strategies. In this part-time remote role, the BI Analyst will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify reporting needs, design dashboards, and maintain BI tools and data pipelines. Daily tasks include extracting and transforming data from various sources, developing and validating data models, and ensuring data quality and consistency. The BI Analyst will also prepare clear reports and visualizations, respond to ad hoc data requests, and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and proven experience in data analytics to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices to design and manage structured data repositories.
- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes for integrating data from multiple systems.
- Proficiency in data modeling to support reporting, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar) and SQL or other query languages.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in healthcare, mental health, or social services environments is an asset.
