We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Duties
- Clean and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and delivering food items.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, restrooms, and kitchen areas.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Participate in catering events or special functions as required, ensuring high standards of service.
Skills
- Strong ability to clean and maintain a tidy dining environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and guests effectively.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen or catering team.
