Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Person to join our small custom cabinet shop. In this role, you will be learning the art of cabinet making. You will contribute to creating high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry for residential projects. This position offers an opportunity to learn the craftsmanship of building custom cabinets. You will be building lifetime skills while working on diverse projects that demand attention to detail and technical proficiency.
Duties
- Learn to ensure all cabinetry meets safety standards by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Learn carpentry tasks such as building face frames, cabinets, cabinet doors and all that tasks that comes with being a cabinet maker.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling and installation processes on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and some proficiency of hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills, as well as power tools including sanders, routers, and nail guns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fabrication and installation tasks.
- Someone who wants to learn the art of cabinetry. A person who enjoys working with wood and wants to learn more. We are looking for a motivated person in this starting role to become an expert in cabinet making and build and craft exceptional cabinetry.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
