Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Handyman/Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction, renovation, and repair projects across residential, commercial, and restoration sites. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in carpentry and general handyman skills, with a passion for craftsmanship and problem-solving. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties, including drywall, painting, flooring, and fixture installation
- Execute carpentry projects such as framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, metal stud framing, and woodwork fabrication
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, assemble, and install various materials
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction or restoration plans
- Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing repairs, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration projects
- Conduct remodeling tasks including flooring installation (tile and wood), drywall finishing, electrical wiring (where qualified), plumbing repairs, and fixture mounting
- Support restoration projects by mold remediation, water damage repair, heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation (such as CNC machines), and metal fabrication
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or handyman roles with a strong background in carpentry and general repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, drills), power tools (cordless drills, saws), and specialized equipment for masonry or metalwork
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus
- Experience working on construction sites or in restoration environments is highly desirable
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation preferred

Pay: $29.99 – $30.00 per hour
