We are seeking dependable CDL Drivers who take pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and delivering reliable service every day. Whether your experience is in residential collection, commercial routes, roll-off operations, container delivery, or other heavy vehicle operations, we want to hear from you.

Position Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles while servicing assigned routes and customers. Drivers are expected to operate equipment safely, provide outstanding customer service, maintain productivity standards, and comply with all federal, state, and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles in residential, commercial, industrial, and construction environments
  • Demonstrate strong vehicle control, including backing, turning, maneuvering, and operating in congested areas
  • Comply with all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Report vehicle defects, equipment issues, accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Utilize proper backing procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings at all times

Route Execution & Service

  • Complete assigned routes safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Follow route sheets, service instructions, and dispatcher direction
  • Service residential, commercial, industrial, and construction customers as assigned
  • Maintain productivity standards while ensuring safe operations
  • Adapt to changing route conditions, traffic patterns, and customer needs

Customer Service

  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers
  • Represent the company positively while on route
  • Address customer concerns professionally and communicate service issues to management
  • Ensure customer locations are left clean and free of debris whenever possible

Equipment Operation & Waste Handling

  • Safely operate route-specific equipment, including collection, compaction, lifting, loading, and unloading systems
  • Inspect loads and materials for safety and compliance
  • Identify and report unacceptable, prohibited, or hazardous materials
  • Follow proper procedures for container handling and waste collection

Documentation & Communication

  • Complete DVIRs, route sheets, electronic logs, and other required documentation accurately
  • Maintain regular communication with dispatch and supervisors throughout the workday
  • Report service exceptions, delays, accidents, or customer concerns promptly

Drivers must follow all company safety policies and demonstrate a commitment to protecting themselves, their coworkers, customers, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL
  • Air Brake Endorsement (where required)
  • Valid DOT Medical Certification
  • Ability to meet DOT and company driving requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of CDL driving experience (Preferred not required)
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles in residential, commercial, construction, waste, recycling, transportation, or related industries
  • Experience working in customer-facing environments
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles throughout the day
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and perform physical work as required by assigned route
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of route-based operations

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time positions
  • Home daily
  • Early morning start times may be required
  • Monday–Friday schedules with occasional weekend work based on operational needs
  • Work performed in residential, commercial, industrial, and construction environments
