Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through physical examinations and detailed medical histories to identify musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate chiropractic adjustments, trigger point therapy, and other manual therapies to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Perform patient observations to monitor progress, identify acute pain episodes, and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Manage acute pain cases effectively by applying evidence-based techniques and collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Educate patients on proper ergonomics, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health goals.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately while documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and care outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy.
Qualifications
- Valid chiropractic license or certification recognized by relevant health authorities.
- Proven experience in primary care settings with a focus on musculoskeletal health.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physical examination techniques.
- Familiarity with medical imaging interpretation and its application in diagnosis.
- Skills in patient observation, assessment, and pain management strategies including trigger point therapy.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
