Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate parts according to precise specifications. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting
– Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
– Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures
– Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
– Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
– Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition
– Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and improve processes
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
– Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
– Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
– Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Strong organizational and time management abilities
