CNC Press Brake Operator 1st Shift 6a-430p M-Th Jobs in Chattanooga at METALWORKING SOLUTIONS
Metalworking Solutions is looking for a full time, 1st Shift, Press Brake Operator. Must have a great attitude with a heart for learning and teaching in a team environment. Successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and be a team player. Compensation is listed below and paid weekly. Our first shift is from 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Set Up and Operating CNC Press Brake – Core Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or job orders for specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operations.
- Place and position work-piece and secure in holding devices, machine table or fixture.
- Verify in process and final conformance of work-piece to specifications using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- First-run set ups unassisted and within acceptable time limits.
- Selection of proper tools, equipment and materials.
- Complete production and quality paperwork as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in metal fabrication
- Minimum 3-5 Years of CNC Press Brake experience
- Experience with Amada Press Brakes is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations & strategies specific to CNC fabrication.
PB Level 1 Starting Wage: $17.50
PB Level 2 Starting Wage: $20.20
PB Level 3 Starting Wage: $25.00
