Coating Technician (1 yr Manufacturing or 1 yr Lab Exp Req) Jobs in East Syracuse, NY at Provisics
Provide production support for the entire coating process
- Start orders unpacking and sorting accordingly
- Clean and inspect lenses prior to coating
- Use of HMI coating equipment loading customer orders
- Proficient use of all equipment in coating laboratory.
- The ability to multitask is a must.
- Ensure all lenses are coated and inspected according to quality lab procedures.
- Calibrate and adjust coating equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare Ultrasonic cleaning equipment for daily use.
- Bead blast internal coating parts periodically according to manufacturers guidelines and replace according to equipment guidelines.
- Perform regular routine machine maintenance in accordance with instruction manual.
- Follow company safety rules and standards, including following the guidelines for hazardous material handling and waste disposal.
- Maintain and clean coating area as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing or Lab experience required
