We are looking for someone who is a mechanically-minded person to work on commercial doors. Door tech responsibilities: fix / install door closers, fix / install lock cylinders, install hinges, install sweeps / weatherstripping, board up broken storefront windows. Glass installation knowledge is helpful. Overhead door experience would be beneficial.
Candidates with prior door experience are a plus, but we will train if you have no door experience. Just have mechanical aptitude, positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and desire to be independent every day!
This is an "on-call" job that is a full-time position. We are busy! You will receive daily work orders that have a time frame of 4-24 hours for you to complete. You will work 3-6 days a week with minimum pay $750-$1000+ a week. Must have basic tools, a reliable truck, and a valid drivers license.
There is a lot of driving which you get paid for at the same rate. Job work order locations will be in Cookeville and surrounding areas.
