About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to join our team at Summerhill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and possess specific experience with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with LIHTC regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Summerhill community, managing staff and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and other applicable housing standards.
- Manage resident relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy levels.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitoring financial performance and reporting.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the community is well-maintained.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely response and resolution.
- Train, supervise, and support on-site staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with regional managers and other stakeholders to improve community services.
- Organize and promote community events and activities to enhance resident engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management, specifically with LIHTC properties.
- Strong understanding of LIHTC compliance and reporting requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management is required, with specific experience in LIHTC properties.
