Duties
- Monitor project timelines and update project schedules regularly to reflect current progress and upcoming needs.
- Communicate actively with suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site teams to resolve delays or issues promptly.
- Assist in managing contracts by verifying order details, delivery terms, and scope of work compliance.
- Support project management by maintaining accurate records of deliveries, change orders, and logistical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with construction site teams to anticipate material needs and prevent delays caused by shortages or scheduling conflicts.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site coordination or as a construction expediter with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools and software such as HeavyBid or Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling software including Primavera P6 or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of construction management software like ProCore for tracking project progress and documentation.
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement procedures, and supply chain logistics within the construction industry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Prior exposure to construction site safety protocols and experience working directly on construction sites is preferred.
