Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours weekly, 5:30am-2pm weekdays plus every 3rd weekend.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in hospital or nursing home, banquet or restaurant setting or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of modified recipes for special diets
• Ability to read, write and follow oral instructions
• Basic cooking skills
• Ability to be on feet 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Teamwork ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, prior equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of diploma
• Knowledge of modified recipes for special diets
• Highly organized with a sense of urgency
