Position: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Overview
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists are needed to support operations at the Santa Rosa Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 2285 Challenger Way, Santa Rosa, CA 95407.
Services to be provided include the full range of CT imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including call shift coverage. Multiple shift schedules with on‑call service are available. Employment with Ansible may result in schedule changes at the direction of Ansible or its customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide CT imaging care covering the range of services expected in a state‑of‑the‑art civilian medical facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA standards and The Joint Commission requirements.
- Adhere to the ARRT practice guidelines and technical standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients.
- Promote the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques.
- Perform organ‑specific and subspecialty‑specific imaging, including CT diagnostic imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, neuroradiology, cardiology, vascular, extremity, and cardiac specialties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a CHEA‑ and JCERT‑accredited technologist training program.
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting; must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months.
- Prior work experience with the GE‑64 750HD and Siemens SOMATOM Force preferred.
- Prior VA experience desirable.
- No sponsorship available.
- Physical requirements:
sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs; carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance; push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
