Lake County Schools is currently seeking custodians for Tavares, Leesburg and Mount Dora. Our schools and departments depend on our custodians to maintain a clean learning environment for our students and staff. Lake County Schools is located less than an hour away from Orlando and has over 45 sites. Become a valuable member of our custodial staff and receive five paid holidays, paid winter break and one week during spring break.
The purpose of the position is to provide general up-keep, sanitation, and maintenance of building facilities and grounds. Employees perform custodial and general maintenance work. Position is responsible for the cleaning, sanitation and custodial tasks as required for the building facilities and grounds. Performs related work as directed.
MINIMUM TRAINING EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED preferred
· Must obtain (within one (1) year of obtaining this position) and maintain custodial certification from plant operations
· Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
