This role is responsible for ensuring flawless execution of pricing, promotions, item maintenance, and cross-functional alignment across the account. In addition, the role will take direct ownership of select regional divisions, leading execution and supporting growth initiatives within those markets.

This is a hybrid role combining execution leadership and emerging account ownership. Success is defined by organization, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving results in assigned divisions.

What You'll Do:

1. Account Execution Leadership (Primary Focus)

  • Serve as the lead coordinator for all pricing, promotional, and executional activity across multiple divisions.
  • Manage promotion submissions, calendars, and timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Ensure alignment between internal plans and customer requirements across banners and regions.
  • Track and validate deductions and trade spend against approved programs.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy across all customer-facing systems and submissions.

2. Item & Data Management

  • Coordinate item setup, maintenance, and changes across divisions.
  • Manage UPC, pack, cost, and product transitions with division-specific requirements.
  • Ensure all customer systems reflect accurate and current information.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.

3. Forecast & Order Alignment

  • Monitor orders vs. forecast across divisions and identify risks or opportunities.
  • Partner with demand planning and supply chain to resolve issues.
  • Communicate proactively on shortages, overages, and demand changes.
  • Support execution to maximize service levels and minimize lost sales.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the central liaison between sales, customer service, demand planning, finance, and supply chain.
  • Ensure alignment on timelines, submissions, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive internal accountability to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain detailed execution calendars tied to customer cadence.

5. Division Account Ownership (Secondary Focus)

  • Own execution and coordination for assigned regional divisions (e.g., Texas Eastern divisions)
  • Support development and execution of division-level plans to drive volume and distribution.
  • Prepare materials and participate in division-level customer meetings and line reviews.
  • Manage follow-ups and ensure execution of agreed-upon initiatives.
  • Serve as a developing point of contact for division stakeholders.

6. Customer Communication

  • Serve as primary contact for day-to-day administrative communication with customer teams (pricing, replenishment, category support).
  • Manage a high volume of requests, submissions, and follow-ups across divisions.
  • Track and resolve open issues to completion in a timely manner.

7. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track key account metrics including promotions, orders, service levels, and execution KPIs.
  • Identify trends, risks, and inconsistencies across divisions.
  • Support preparation of business reviews and internal updates.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all submissions and activities.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in CPG, produce, or retail account support
  • Experience working with large, multi-division grocery retailers strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Syndicated Data Analysis, Excel and ERP/customer systems
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Broker management experience a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Core Competencies:

  • Execution Discipline – delivers accurate, timely work with consistency
  • Attention to Detail – identifies and resolves issues before they escalate

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • On-time and accurate promotion and pricing execution across divisions
  • Reduction in deduction errors and discrepancies
  • Accuracy of item and customer data across all banners
  • Alignment of orders vs. forecast and service level performance
  • Effective management of multiple priorities without missed deadlines
  • Execution and performance of assigned divisions
