Role Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize database performance for large-scale MySQL and PostgreSQL environments.
- Partner with the development team to design, implement, and maintain robust database structures.
- Develop, test, and manage data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard business-critical information.
- Monitor database environments to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database solutions with evolving business needs.
- Document database configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure operational transparency and continuity.
Requirements
- Have advanced hands-on expertise with MySQL and PostgreSQL administration.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in database optimization and troubleshooting.
- Possess a strong command of SQL for querying, scripting, and performance tuning.
- Have experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain complex technical information.
