A non-profit multi human services organization serving primarily Asian-Americans in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is seeking a director for its DOE funded PreK
For All/Extended Day Program located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Applicant for the position must have completed studies in Early Childhood or related subject areas at the post-graduate level and have obtained certification by the New York State Education Department as a teacher in Early Childhood Education/ Childhood Education. Applicant also needs good administrative and organizational skills, with a minimum of three years of classroom and paid experience as a Group Teacher in a licensed preschool program. Experience as a director of funded program or early childhood program as well as familiarity with DOE UPK/Head Start Program operation and requirements a big plus. Computer literate. Chinese bilingual preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
