Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster cognitive, physical activity, language/communication and social-emotional growth.
- Provide attentive care and support
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and play.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote good conduct and emotional regulation among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of classroom activities and child development
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, organize activities, and ensure compliance with childcare standards and early childhood education best practices.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, including classroom management and lesson planning. (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development across various subjects
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that support positive social interactions.
- Commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and classroom experience that emphasizes inclusive practices for diverse learners.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Pay: $10.00 – $12.00 per hour
