Parts Counterperson Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Answer phones promptly
- Multi-tasking
- Locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part request for the customer
- Communicate with customers on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify parts on factory sites. (Cummins, Mack, Caterpillar, Meritor, and more)
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
Parts Counterperson Qualifications:
- Have 1+ years of Heavy Duty Truck experience preferred
- Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Are detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Efficient in customer service and phone skill.
· Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Must be familiar with computers
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
- Dependability
- ADP/CDK knowledge is a plus!
