Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field. (A Master’s degree or Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is highly desirable). Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management capacity. Preferred: Previous experience leading communications within a K-12 public school district, higher education, or government agency and bilingual.
