My client, a leading Investment firm, is hiring a Director of Global Digital Media to lead a critical, expanding function within a high-volume, high-budget performance marketing organisation. This is a true leadership role: you'll build and develop a team, shape strategy across a rapidly growing international footprint, and be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, while staying close enough to the campaigns to coach with credibility.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the GVP, you'll take ownership of international digital marketing across a portfolio currently spanning 18 markets, expanding to 21+ by year end, split across two leadership roles at this level. You'll direct strategy, structure, and resourcing for your markets, and lead a team of 4-5 direct reports (media buyers and analysts) embedded within a broader in-house agency model spanning country teams, creative, copy, data, and martech.

You'll manage seven-figure monthly budgets across paid search, social, and native (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Taboola, X, Outbrain), with a strong emphasis on direct response, lead-gen and service-based campaigns.

What You'll Own

  • Team structure, hiring, development, and performance management across your markets
  • Strategic and budget planning in partnership with Strategy & Planning and senior marketing leadership
  • Market-level strategy: identifying where to invest, who owns what, and how to scale efficiently
  • Coaching and developing talent, spotting strengths and gaps, and building a bench for the future
  • Executive-level reporting on performance versus goals
  • Cross-functional coordination with Compliance, HR, Legal, and internal creative/production teams

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in digital marketing, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity
  • A proven track record building, developing, and scaling high-performing teams
  • Deep fluency in programmatic and direct-response performance channels: Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Taboola, X, Outbrain
  • Agency or agency-adjacent experience, comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure, high-volume environment
  • Strong quantitative and strategic instincts, with the ability to translate insight into action
  • A coaching mindset: you lead through people, not just campaigns
