Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across production, supply chain, and customer service functions. This role ensures efficient planning, coordination, and execution of operations to meet quality, safety, and performance targets. The Director will develop and implement operational strategies, optimize processes, manage budgets, and monitor key performance indicators. Daily responsibilities include leading and coaching cross-functional teams, resolving operational issues, improving workflows, and collaborating with senior leadership on long-term business goals. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support continuous improvement and sustainable growth.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, production oversight, and supply chain coordination.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, monitoring KPIs, and making evidence-based decisions.
  • Candidates should possess effective Team Management capabilities, including leadership, delegation, and performance development.
  • Candidates should possess Budgeting skills for planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills focused on maintaining high service standards and addressing client needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in operations leadership, preferably in food, dairy, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with comfort working remotely and using digital collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
