General Responsibilities
- Manages all manufacturing operations, including production control, product engineering, and inventory control, while overseeing purchasing and shipping/receiving activities.
- Translates customer requirements into advanced manufacturing strategies, ensuring cost-effective and profitable production.
- Directs resource allocation to achieve organizational objectives and motivates teams for breakthrough improvements.
- Ensures a safe and innovative working environment, focusing on quality and timely product delivery.
- Collaborates with management to implement cost-effective control systems and oversees customer commitments with production staff.
- Develops operations plans, budgets, and policies, and leads efforts in environmental, health, and safety goals within manufacturing.
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
- Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
