We are conducting a strategic search for a Director, Walmart and Sam’s Club Sales to manage a critical $150M portfolio for a premier food manufacturing partner.

​This role is designed for a seasoned sales executive who has mastered the intricacies of the world’s largest retailer. We are seeking a hands-on strategist who is ready for their next Yugto—leading a massive book of business where "elevated" execution is the standard and the results are measured on a national scale.

​The Scope of Impact

​You will serve as the strategic lead for the Walmart and Sam’s Club business, ensuring that every tactic aligns with long-term profitability and growth:

​Strategic Leadership: Own the delivery of annual top and bottom-line revenue and profit objectives across branded and private label portfolios.
​Planning Architecture: Lead the end-to-end 3-year strategic planning and Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes for both Walmart and Sam’s Club.
​Performance Engineering: Take full ownership of the P&L and trade spend, driving financial performance while eliminating waste and optimizing ROI.
​Broker Command: Manage and mentor broker partners, providing clear direction and accountability to ensure flawless execution at the store level.
​Digital Integration: Act as the strategic visionary for the eCommerce business, ensuring our digital presence accelerates in-store growth.
​Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with R&D, Finance, and Supply Chain to navigate demand planning, innovation launches, and SKU rationalization.

​The Profile of Excellence

​The Food Industry Veteran: 7–10+ years of progressive retail sales experience specifically within food manufacturing (Non-beverage; center store or baked goods experience is a distinct advantage).
​The Walmart Specialist: 5+ years of direct experience managing Walmart and Sam’s Club with a proven track record of owning the JBP process.
​The Portfolio Architect: Current or recent experience managing a complex portfolio of approximately $150M.
​The Financial Strategist: Demonstrated mastery of P&L management, volume forecasting, and trade promotion optimization.
​The Local Expert: Currently based in the Bentonville/Northwest Arkansas area with deep roots in the local retail community.
​The Master Communicator: Comfortable in executive-facing environments, capable of influencing both internal leadership and external retail merchants.
