Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service hours to support smooth restaurant flow.
- Support food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep and basic assembly to aid chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.
- Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and uphold hospitality standards.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices.
- Experience in bussing tables or supporting food service environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, catering, banquet experience, or restaurant operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary and hospitality staff.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment operation.
- Prior kitchen or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
