Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment functions properly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients when needed
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with light food handling tasks
- Follow proper sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service operations
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen area to uphold hygiene standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations including bussing tables, basic food preparation, or culinary tasks is advantageous
- Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments are essential
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience will help you excel in this role
