Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Support banquet service by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for events.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
