Job Overview:
We are seeking a Documentation Review & Packaging Operator who is responsible for performing documentation review activities and supporting pouch and packaging operations in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position ensures production documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), while also operating packaging equipment and maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Review
- Review batch records, packaging records, logbooks, and production documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GMP and GDP requirements.
- Verify that all production and packaging documentation is completed correctly before submission to Quality Assurance.
- Identify documentation discrepancies, missing information, or errors and coordinate corrections with production personnel.
- Ensure all documentation is legible, complete, and properly archived according to company procedures.
- Assist with document reconciliation and support internal and external audits as needed.
Packaging Operations
- Operate pouching, packaging, labeling, and sealing equipment according to approved procedures.
- Perform line clearance, equipment setup, and changeovers for packaging operations.
- Monitor packaging operations to ensure product quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Inspect packaged products for proper labeling, seals, lot numbers, expiration dates, and overall quality.
- Complete required packaging documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform in-process checks and report any quality or equipment issues immediately.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining packaging equipment and work areas.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP, safety, and company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, or production operations.
- Experience reviewing batch records, packaging records, or manufacturing documentation preferred.
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Experience operating pouching, labeling, sealing, or automated packaging equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and accurately complete manufacturing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as business needs require.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive hand movements and manual tasks.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as required.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hairnets, beard covers (if applicable), gloves, safety glasses, and other required protective equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
