Role Description The Education Alliance Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for building and maintaining relationships with educational institutions and community partners to advance Caron’s mission. This role develops and delivers educational programs, trainings, and presentations on substance use disorders, prevention, and recovery resources to educators, students, families, and allied professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating outreach efforts, responding to inquiries from schools and organizations, providing guidance on supportive services, and collaborating with internal clinical and community engagement teams. The Education Alliance Specialist also gathers feedback, tracks program outcomes, and contributes to the creation of educational materials and resources that reflect current best practices in addiction treatment and prevention.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Education and Teaching skills, with experience developing and delivering learning content or curricula.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Training and facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops, seminars, or professional development sessions.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and relationship-building skills to support schools, families, and community partners with empathy and professionalism.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Public Health, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, school counseling, or community outreach is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational, time management, and remote work skills, including proficiency with virtual meeting platforms and standard office software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate cultural humility and sensitivity when engaging diverse communities.
