Seeking full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Critical Care Intensivist with experience in the management of cardiothoracic surgery patients. The position offers the opportunity to join a leading, multidisciplinary cardiac program known for innovation, excellence, and high procedural volume.
Position Highlights:
Join a collaborative team of experienced intensivists in a cardiothoracic ICU setting Provide care for complex cardiovascular patients, including those undergoing heart transplant, VAD implantation, ECMO, and other advanced circulatory support therapies Pre- and post-operative management of cardiothoracic surgical patients Hands-on procedures including chest tube placement and bronchoscopy State-of-the-art facilities with full support from top-tier cardiovascular surgical and interventional specialists Candidate Requirements:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine ECMO experience highly preferred Skilled in cardiogenic shock management, mechanical circulatory support, and post-op cardiac surgical care Ability to perform critical care procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut Compensation & Benefits:
