Schedule Variable schedule, Sunday through Saturday
12-hour APP mid-shifts: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PMNo call requirement
Clinical Responsibilities Provide emergency medicine coverage for all patient populations
Round on Emergency Department patients
Average daily volume: 35-45 patients per day Annual ED volume:
Approximately 12,000 visits
Provider will work independently for portions of coverage
Manage a wide range of emergency presentations and trauma stabilization needs
Practice Setting Hospital-based inpatient Emergency Department9 private monitored rooms2 trauma/resuscitation bays3 triage/treatment rooms
EMR:
Epic (Proficient user required)
Requirements Board Certified Physician Assistant – Required Active Oregon license – Required at presentation
ACLS – Required
PALS – Required
ATLS – Required (at least once demonstrated/board certified)
Must be proficient with Epic EMR
